TAPESTRY CLINIC SIGNS 10-YEAR LEASE AT NORTHGATE CENTER
SPRINGFIELD -- Tapestry Health Care Systems has signed a 10-year lease for 2,500 square feet at Northgate Professional Center, 1985 Main Street. The space will be renovated as the new home for the Springfield Health Services Clinic, currently located on Mulberry Street.
The clinic will occupy first floor frontage between The Apothecary Pharmacy and H&R Block, according to Northgate owner Andrew M. Cohen. The facility will open in February once renovations are complete, he said.
Offering a range of reproductive health services for women and men, the clinic is part of the Tapestry Healthcare network in Western Massachusetts. Tapestry, a 30-year-old agency with offices in 11 cities and towns, provides a range of affordable family planning and community health services to the uninsured and the underinsured.
Tapestry also maintains a WIC (Women, Infants and Children Nutrition Program) office at Northgate. Originally built as a retail/office complex, Northgate was reoriented toward medical and service tenancies after extensive renovations in 2007, Cohen said.
In addition to The Apothecary, H&R Block and WIC, Northgate tenants include Hanger Prosthetics & Orthotics, the Springfield Veterans Center, Northgate Dental Center, Northgate Medical, Northgate Spine & Injury Center, Community Enterprises, New England Business Associates, Community Transportation and Ramos Accounting.
