The recent renovation of the 45,000 square foot property at 1985 Main Street, Springfield, Massachusetts is part of the synergy in the medical field that includes the expansion of two major hospitals - Baystate and Mercy Medical Center. Northgate also joins numerous health care offices and facilities that have taken root along the Main Street medical corridor.
Fresh from its recent upgrading, Northgate has signed a lease with Hanger Prosthetics & Orthotics, one of the world's largest providers of prosthetic and orthotic products and services. Northgate is also the new home of The Apothecary, an independent local pharmacy that had sought a location with more space, greater visibility and safe, free parking.
The center's renovations in 2007 include a redesigned façade, enhanced lighting, new signage and improvements to the attached three-story office building. Located at the junction of Interstates 91 and 291, it offers high visibility and is convenient to city and inter-city bus lines.
